Cookie policy

Which cookies the site sets, why, and why there is no consent banner.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. In short

The site uses no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers and no measurement tool that sets cookies. It only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, which do not require prior consent. That is why there is no banner.

2. Cookies used

CookiePurposeWhenLifetime
NEXT_LOCALERemembers the chosen language (fr, en, zh)On first visitSession (deleted when the browser closes)
sb-…-auth-token (Supabase)Keeps you signed in once identifiedOnly after signing inLength of the sign-in session

3. Audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits (page views, country, device type, referrer). According to Vercel's documentation, this tool works without cookies: visitors are told apart by a hash computed from the request, discarded after 24 hours. For signed-in accounts, usage events are also recorded in our database; they are described in the privacy policy and can be switched off in the dashboard settings.

4. If this changes

If we ever added a non-essential cookie, we would ask for your consent before setting it, with refusal as easy as acceptance, and we would update this page.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie will prevent you from signing in; blocking the language cookie will return you to the default language.

Links to third-party sites (for example Cal.com booking, or cited sources) may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies.
